Have We All Been Here Before?

Reincarnation has been part of human culture for millennia. It is at the heart of some world religions, the ancient Greeks accepted it, it forms the central teaching of various esoteric doctrines, and many everyday people have found themselves haunted by memories of past lives.

What do we know about this strange idea, which has us coming back to life as different person after our death?

Join  Gary Lachman, our foremost writer on the esoteric,  as he examines the phenomenon of reincarnation through the ages and across cultures and tries to get to the truth about this enduring human belief.

Gary Lachman
Gary Lachman is the author of several books about consciousness, culture, and the Western esoteric tradition, including Dreaming Ahead of Time, The Return of Holy Russia, Dark Star Rising: Magick and Power in the Age of Trump, Lost Knowledge of the Imagination, Beyond the Robot: The Life and Work of Colin Wilson, and, most recently, Maurice Nicoll: Forgotten Teacher of the Fourth Way. He has written biographies of C G Jung, Madame Blavatsky, Rudolf Steiner, Emanuel Swedenborg, P D Ouspensky, and Aleister Crowley. His work has been translated into more than a dozen languages. In a former life he was a founding member of the pop group Blondie and in 2006 was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is an adjunct professor of Transformative Studies at the California Institute of Integral Studies.

This was a very enjoyable and well performed piece of entertainment. We would certainly recommend this event if it is performed again in future. We look forward to attending future London city of the dead events.

Amazing talk - learned so much about neuroscience with innovative ideas and a well-thought approach to the history of zombie representation throughout the years and how this links to neuroscience today. Cannot recommend enough!
