Hot as hash cakes off their summer tour, the creators of surreal festival smash ‘Phenomonopoly’ bring you ‘The Immortali-tea Party’. Hosted by the pun -loving ‘Exquisite Corpse’, dinner guests will join the pub-quiz style game where three teams will have to answer the undying questions of the universe using only fridge magnet poetry. Throughout the night the doorbell will ring and new guests will appear to animate their answers:

Mycelium Gallagher whose song ‘Champignon Supernova’ explores how you can live forever by being buried in a mushroom suit

Bob Rott whose ‘end of life portraits’ will gently take you through your own body’s nine stages of decomposition

and not forgetting the housekeeper, Mememento Maureen, who does the dusting AKA sprinkles life affirming ashes on everything.

A three course finger buffet of edible Dali-cacies inspired by The Surrealist Cookbook will be served:

Primordial ooze bouche, devilled eyeballs, Nansense and dips, knuckle sandwiches and sweet finger surprise.

The Tea genie will grant you tea wishes:
Hieronymous Rooibosch, Dali-jeeling, Frida Kahmomile.

NOTE: Legen-non-dairy and meat-free alternatives to finger foods will be provided.

As a London Month of the Dead regular, I was chuffed to have an event around Christmas. The performance was fantastic and the atmosphere was perfect!

We were a little disappointed that we were unable to hear Casting the Runes. The other stories were fun though, especially the Judge’s House. How could it go wrong with Bram Stocker in charge!
