As the morning sun settles over one of London’s oldest burial grounds, join us for a walk exploring the hidden history of St Pancras Old Church and its remarkable churchyard. With over 1,600 years of history, this ancient site has witnessed plague, body snatching, literary inspiration and extraordinary lives, leaving behind countless stories waiting to be rediscovered.
Together we’ll trace the paths of resurrectionists, unravel the truth behind the legendary Hardy Tree, and discover how St Pancras inspired two of literature’s greatest horror icons. Along the way we’ll encounter celebrated writers, visionary architects, an unlikely Second World War hero and an eighteenth-century master of disguise, revealing how this peaceful churchyard has long been a stage for some of London’s most fascinating and unexpected histories.
Tickets £15 including a 20% donation to Highgate Cemetery.
